UO especially busy on Friday, May 9

The University of Oregon will see more activity than usual throughout the day on Friday, May 9. A wide variety of events are scheduled at UO facilities, which may make travel on and around campus congested. Activities include a rally for Democratic presidential hopeful, Sen. Barack Obama; the 40th Annual Mother’s Day Pow Wow at McArthur Court; a Duck softball game at Howe Field; the Twilight Meet at Hayward Field; and the ASUO Spring Street Faire on East 13th Avenue. In addition, the Erb Memorial Union will be hosting a full contingent of events on Friday.
