MEETING MINUTES

Minutes for April 6, 2002

Announcements:

Attendees:

  • Sarah
  • Jan
  • Felicia
  • Seth
  • Angie
  • Pat
  • Scott
  • Joel

Total: 8, plus others trickling in later

Gamex: The schedule is pretty much set with the exception of some changes that were requested on the list. We have banner space above the EMU fishbowl starting on the 23rd, so there will be banner making in the next couple weeks. Joel has been working on prizes. If anyone else has prizes to donate, talk to one of the officers (or post to the list). Soon our funds will be unfrozen and we will have lots of flyers, which means that we will need people to hang up said flyers.

Gamex will be held on April 27th starting at 11am.

Lan Party: The lan party has about 50 people signed up right now with more on the way. They still need volunteers to help out. Games they will be playing include:

  • Counterstrike
  • Starcraft
  • Unreal Tournament
  • Quake 3
  • Tribes 2
  • Day of Defeat

If you desperately need help transporting your computer over to the law school, contact Sarah.

The Lan Party will be held on April 20th starting at 10am.

First Saturday Event: There was some question as to whether or not we should have a first Saturday event, since we already had a bunch of events scheduled. However, Mike has volunteered to run Hero Quest. So, that will be held in the Carson Gold Room on May 4th at 7pm.

Next Meeting: The next meeting will be on May 18th and will be followed by open gaming.

Meeting ends at 7:30pm.
