Office of Student Advocacy334 EMU, the Office of Student Advocacy offers services that help students address issues concerning grade discrimination, employee disputes, and problems with administration. University Health CenterThe University Health Center offers HIV testing to students for $12. This fee can be billed to your student account as unspecified laboratory work, or you can pay in cash. University Counseling CenterThe University Counseling Center provides confidential counseling to students individually, or in groups, about a variety of life issues. Counseling Center couselors are professionals trained to handle all issues of sexual orientation development, from "coming out" to relationships. Call or stop by the Counseling Center for an intake interview. Those who want a lesbian, gay, or bisexually identified counselor can call ahead and ask the receptionist for the lesbian, gay, or bisexual counselor's schedules before arriving.
