The Knight Library contains the largest research collection in the state, with more than 2.6 million volumes and 17,500 journals, many in electronic format. The building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1990, houses the UO's collections of materials in the humanities, social sciences, music, and business, as well as the library's special collections, government documents, microforms, and maps.
