UO Intercollegiate Sports

The University of Oregon offers fifteen women’s and men’s sports programs that participate at the highest levels of intercollegiate competition. The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics believes that participation in athletics provides an arena where student-athletes can be developed, tested, and encouraged to reach their maximum potential.

Club Sports

The Erb Memorial Union Club Sports Program is a co-ed, competitive, recreational program for students as well as faculty and staff members. It is designed as an athletic alternative, bridging the gap between existing intramural and intercollegiate programs.

Outdoor Program

For more than three decades the Outdoor Program has been a place where motivated individuals have gathered to learn, share, and enjoy a wide variety of outdoor adventures. The UO program is recognized as one of the first and most unique outdoor adventure programs in the country.

Physical Education and Recreation

The Department of Physical Education and Recreation (formerly PARS—Physical Activity and Recreation Services) enhances the lives of UO students as well as faculty and staff members by providing physical activity programs and services that promote health and fitness, active recreation, and participation in sports.

Student Recreation Center

Open recreation, fitness programs, classes, and special events for students and faculty and staff members are hosted in our recreational facilities.

Services for Student-Athletes

Services for Student-Athletes is a component of SOAR (Scholastic Excellence, Outstanding Character, Athletic Achievement, Responsibility for Self and Others), the University of Oregon’s implementation of the NCAA’s CHAMPS (Challenging Athletes Minds for Personal Success) life skills program. Services for Student-Athletes recognizes that the unique demands on the student-athlete make the rigors of college life particularly challenging. SSA assists student-athletes by providing daily services, including individualized advising, tutoring, and current curriculum information to help student-athletes achieve their academic objectives while participating in a demanding intercollegiate athletic program.

International Institute for Sport and Human Performance

The International Institute for Sport and Human Performance is an extension of the Department of Human Physiology in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Oregon. The institute promotes, synthesizes, and communicates research findings that benefit the inter- and cross-disciplinary areas in sport, exercise, and human movement sciences through publications, workshops, conferences, and continuing-education courses.

Oregon Club of Eugene-Springfield

The Oregon Club is a nonprofit fundraising organization with the singular purpose of financially and otherwise supporting Duck athletics.

Oregon Club of Portland

The Oregon Club of Portland is dedicated to raising money for University of Oregon athletic programs and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.

Oregon Daisy Ducks

The Oregon Daisy Ducks serve as a booster group for athletic teams and athletic programs of the University of Oregon.

Warsaw Sports Marketing Center

Guided by the belief that sports marketing is consumer-driven and global in scope, and that entrepreneurial thinking and action are critical to the continued growth of the sports industry, the James H. Warsaw Sports Marketing Center aims to promote an environment where both academic study and industry “street smarts” come together to educate the next generation of sports marketers.
