Kool-Aid Playdough
Have you
ever been stuck inside on a rainy day, wishing you had something new and
exciting to play with? Well, unless your parents are willing to buy you a new toy,
you may be out of luck. Instead, I would like to show you some fun things you
could make around the house to eliminate that boredom without having to spend
money.
The
first recipe is Kool-Aid Playdough! Kool-Aid adds a twist to the traditional
playdough recipe by adding color and smell. It is important to identify all the
ingredients you need, follow the directions given and include an adult when
needed.
Here is
the list of common household ingredients needed to complete this recipe:

1 ¼ Cup Flour |
|
|
¼ Cup Salt |
|
|
1 pkg
unsweetened Kool-aid |
|
|
1 cup boiling water (Requires adult assistance) |
|
|
1 1/2 Tbsp vegetable oil |
|
You will also need to use some different
measuring tools; here are some pictures of what to look for:

|
NOW, once you’ve gathered all your
materials, it’s time to start making your playdough!
Step One: Mix all dry ingredients-
Flour, Salt, Kool-Aid Mix
Step Two: Boil water and oil-
Have an adult help!!!
Step Three: Add the boiling
water and oil to the dry ingredients, mix all together.
Step Four: Knead the mixture
like bread. Be Careful, it’s hot!!!
