CHAPTER UPDATES

5/17 - 9 new brothers of the Omega pledge class are initiated. Throughout their pledge class they learned about the fraternity, our chapter and the university. They also performed the traditional "Sorority Serenades" in front of eight sororities, and others.

5/10 - Congratulations to the following brothers for receiving 2009 Brother Awards:
Most Outstanding New Brother: Matt Lerman
Most Outstanding Senior Brother: Kevin Poehner and Carter Chapman
Most Scholarly Brother: Arie Kuipers
Most Brotherly Brother: Matt Lerman
Order of the Lion Award: Nate Lipton

1/05 - Winter term Classes begin

2/23 - New E-Board, Nate Lipton is now the master

2/24 - AEPi WINS SigEp's RED DOOR FILM FESTIVAL FOR "ALEX COHEN:FRATERNITY LINEBACKER!!!!" (the video is available on our videos page)

3/17 - AEPi finishes in the top 4 fraternity grades, number 1 on live-out grades.

12/12 - Fall term ends

11/22 - 16 new brothers of the Psi pledge class are initiated. Throughout their pledge class they learned about the fraternity, our chapter and the university. They also performed the traditional "Sorority Serenades" in front of eight sororities, and others.

10/24 - The brothers join the sisters of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority for a 1920s-style bid day function

10/13 - 2008 fall rush is officially over with 17 new pledges.

9/29 - The 2008-2009 academic year officially begins
This will be the 133rd of the University of Oregon. The U of O was recently ranked 108th in the nation.

9/26 - 25 brothers live in the new house
This year the brothers will enjoy cooking service, as well as other great perks that are included in the new house.

6/16 - Upsilon Omega saying goodbye to 10 brothers
The brothers of Upsilon Omega is saying goodbye to 10 brothres at the end of the 2008 academic year. Eight brothers are graduating: Will Keller, Jonathan Reiter, Ben David, Nathan Benjamin, Daniel Berman, Nate Perlmutter, Aaron Milmeister and Jonathan Rosenberg. In addition, Max Brockman and David Frank will be leaving us to pursue their music career in their home state of Washington. We to congratulate everyone and wish them all good luck on their new lives!

6/10 - Its official, we have a new house!
After an initiative from several coragous brothers who held through monthes of nagotiations and contracts, the brotherhood is moving to a new house on 729 e. 11th ave. Check out our House Page for more info.

5/31 - Chi Pledge Class Initiated:
Trevor, Michael, Arie, Leo and Scott are our newest brothers. The five were initiated on Saturday, May 31st and concluded a successful recruitment year, which raised the brotherhood to 40 members. All five will be living in our new house.

5/11 - Brother Banquet:
On Sunday, May 11th, alumni, friends and family members joined the borthers of the Upsilon Omega Chapter for the annual brother banquet, which was held at the beautiful Gerlinger Lounge. Master of Ceremonies Kevin Poehner hosted the event, which included brother awards and speeches by Master Shaun Barneveld and Lt. Master Uri Fintzy. It was great to have all the brothers and their families together.
