SHORT TERM GOALS (END OF SUMMER)
Ø Write out present UO organizational chart
Ø Find home (funding) for internships during school year
Ø Configure an evaluation process that
will critically address the positive and negative aspects of the newly
developed Assoc. VP for Student Affairs and Student Affairs Council, asking
questions such as:
- who will or will not
be affected
- does this model address
the workload issues for people such as Troy or Stephanie
- is there proper/sufficient
student involvement
- what type of influence/authority
does this group/person have
- is there a synthesis
or connection between the groups that "we" see as not being connected
Ø figure out what the "expected" outcomes need to be for us
Ø investigate/research other school's administrative models (UC Boulder, Brown, UC Davis…)
Ø Try to create an MCC advisor position by fall/winter (find funding) (work w/ Wylie)
Ø Work with Jason to try to find places to put GTF's in an effort to lessen work loads and retain students.
Ø Complete a list of long term goals

Ø Continue to find allies to support new position suggestions
Ø Keep updating our proposed model as UO changes
Ø Funding is key - find $ for positions that do not take $ from somewhere else
