SHORT TERM (completed mid-September 1999)

* Get statement of support of the facilitated dialogue from Deans and from Department Heads (as many as is possible).

* Develop the diversity/sensitivity training within the Teaching Effectiveness Program.
  1. in the GTF training
  2. in the new faculty training
  3. some session available for existing faculty

* Create a concise package of educational dialogues available from Human Resources
 

LONG TERM

* Present our concerns and proposals to all departments throughout the following year (99/00)

* Follow through with PPPM and (possibly Sociology) with some form of facilitated dialogue and use as an exemplar of the program.
