Welcome to the Oregon Ballroom Dance Club web page! We are based in Eugene, Oregon on the University of Oregon campus.

News

Our big ballroom formal is going to be on Saturday, February 20th!  The formal theme is, "Live and Let Dance!" a James Bond Spy-Themed dance!  Come dressed in your slickest spy outfit!

Beginning on Friday, February 26th and continuing through Friday, March 12th we will have a three part intermediate Cha Cha lesson series!

Mission

The object of this organization will be to promote the art of classical and contemporary ballroom dance on campus by sponsoring dances and educational workshops/classes.
These events will provide a source of good fun, as well as a contribution to the educational and cultural development of the University and community at large. These events will be open to everyone and alcohol will not be served at any functions.

Our dance hotline provides information on events we host and is generally updated by Sunday for the following week.

OBDC Friday Night Ballroom Dances - We hold a weekly dance every Friday night during the academic school year in 220 Gerlinger Hall from 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM. During the first hour we have lessons for beginning and developing dancers. The cost is $4 for students (with ID) and $6 for the community.
