Membership Coordinator Duties
- Keep an updated roster of all current members and give e-mail contact information to the secretary so that members can receive weekly meeting minutes.
- Bring the current member list to meetings
- During the first two dances of each term, make sure that someone sits with the auditors from the start of the lesson to the end of the first hour of the dance to issue new cards.
- At the beginning of each term, make sure all officers know how to issue new cards and criteria for the cards.
- Describe tasks/membership policy for members and non-members
- Maintain the Membership Binder. It contains:
- Various Cards
- Current term membership cards
- Officer cards
- Temporary cards
- An electronic version of each card type (i.e. on USB or CD)
- Updated member roster
- Instructions on how to issue a card
- A master copy of previous cards
- Update, print, and issue Officer, Temporary, and Membership cards by the first dance of each term.
- Officer cards must display the current school year and are to be distributed to the current OBDC officers.
- Temporary cards should be given to anyone that asks for one, must contain three spaces for signatures for completed tasks, and an explanation of how to become a member should be given to the interested party.
- Membership cards must display the current school term and year, and must contain six spaces for signatures for completed tasks.
