24 April 2009: Chess equipment and books are now available for members to borrow. See the books and equipment section of the website. UO Chess Club will be sponsoring an outdoor, unrated quad tournament on May 30th on the east lawn of the EMU. More details TBA. 19 February 2009: Welcome to the new UO Chess website! If you have any comments, please send email to the webmaster. This of course includes, problems viewing the new website, broken links, general criticism, and anything else. 26 January 2009: We have created a mailing list, chess-meet@lists.uoregon.edu, which allows you to contact people who want to meet up and play chess, at times other than the weekly chess club meeting. About Us: The UO Chess Club, an ASUO-funded organization, is dedicated to increasing the University of Oregon's presence in the national chess scene, as well as the game of chess here on the university campus.
