"I moved up to above the Eddie Mine summer of '74. The Hermit was livin' up there by otter creek, and had all these forts. I built a fort up by Eddie Mine. Paul was the one who invited me up to the 80 Acres. I moved up into different other people's cabins. I stayed in the log cabin. I remember Paul lived in the cupcake, Floyd lived in the community house. Melvin was like my best friend when we were up there - we used to hang out all the time. We used to take his flatbed truck to the farms around there and load manure with pitchforks. We got manure from Mac and Wanda's dairy farm on Childer's Road. The goat man lived out Cape Blanco road. He was real old and had lots of goats and would milk them and fill up quart canning jars for one dollar a quart. He talked like a goat."    -kim
