Pi Phi’s commitment to philanthropic work spreads outside of the Greek community and our own literacy projects in many individual ways. However, we also come together as a chapter to support other worthwhile campus philanthropies. University of Oregon’s Dance Marathon is one such cause that in its inaugural year Pi Phi jumped on the opportunity to get involved. Dance Marathon raises money for Children’s Miracle Network, which assists local children’s hospitals best help the children in the community they serve. Pi Phis raised just under $3,000 making us the largest fundraising team and with so much support from members we were also the largest dance team!
