Past Involvement:

UO Anti-War Resolution:   On Friday, January 31, the general Assembly will meet to discuss theadoption of an anti-war resolution. The General Assembly consists of all faculty, classified staff and some students. Last term the University Senate voted not to even vote on the anti-war resolution. This meetings was called due to the efforts of peace activists on campus and could change what didn't happen last term. We should have a huge student presence at the meeting.  It's time to show people that WAR AFFECTS US ALL.  The meeting is at PLC 180, 3-5 on Friday Jan. 31.

February 15th March/Rally:  Students for Peace will be organizing a march from the U of O campus to the Federal Building downtown on February 15th as a prelude to the rally that Progressive Response will be hosting there that day.

Oregon Peace Festival:   The Oregon Peace Festival will be taking place on the UO campus Jan. 31st, Feb. 1st and Feb. 2nd.  The theme for the festival is "Peace Begins at Home".  The scheduled list of events includes music, speakers, and workshops.  There is no cost to attend!  So everyone, please come!  Finally, if you would like to help out with the Peace Fest in any way, please contact:
