National studies have shown that fraternity members perform better academically than the average college student. The Chapter's primary mission to our members is to assist them while they strive to achieve their highest academic goals. To ensure that our members maintain a minimum level, the Fraternity has methods and rules to which all pledges and members must comply .

SCHOLASTIC METHODS |
Scholarship Chair: This individual is responsible to the Fraternity's Executive Council for focusing the member on and increasing the scholastic level of the House. They assign the “Study Mentors”, oversee the “Study Table”, and when necessary enforce members attendance at “Study Table”. |
Study Mentor: Each pledge and member is assigned an upperclassman who is pursuing a similar academic major. This upperclassman becomes their mentor and will assist with the following: |
| |
Before Registration: Advising regarding the required and/or recommended classes. Guidance during the selection of instructors. |
| |
During the Term: Assistance in forming and maintaining excellent study habits. Mentoring in answering questions about course material. |
| Study Tables: On Sunday through Thursday nights, all pledges and members are encouraged to participate in the “Study Table”. It is mandatory for any pledge or members whose GPA is below 2.50. |
Study Tests: Sample tests from previous years are available to review in order to prepare for mid-terms and finals. They are helpful in determining what course material is considered significant testing material in the eyes of the instructors. |
