South Africa was an intense trip. I landed in Johannesberg at 5 a.m. and drove through to Blumfuntein where I stayed with a freind and his family. He and I continued our trip through the heart of the country - through the Karoo Desert to Capetown. Capetown was incredible, but the journey through the country was the best part of the trip. In the few weeks I was in South Africa, I saw people, animals, and situations I never expected and learned more about the human experience than I had in my life to that point.
