I lived and worked in Taiwan for nearly three years. I spent most of my time in Xinying, a small city on the southwest side of the island. I loved teaching and met wonderful friends along the way. I learned to write curriculum, speak Chinese, drive a scooter, and many other valuable skills! Most of all, I gained a perspective on the world - a constant consideration of what's happening beyond my immediate world: How are others effected by my decisions? How does the world see us? Perception is everything.
